Serena Williams just took to Instagram to post her latest glam ‘fit.
In the snap, the 40-year-old tennis G.O.A.T is posing in a velvet dress with a crystal-studded bodice. And her legs are looking incredibly strong.
Serena, who obviously takes her fitness seriously, stays consistent with her training—working on conditioning work, strength training, and even yoga.
Serena showed off her outfit, designed by CD Greene, with a solo snap captioned, “ in the rough.” She posed in front of a grand piano, which added just another layer of class to the pic.
Impossible to ignore is Serena’s ultra-strong body, which she works hard for, being the supreme athlete she is. Luckily, she shares lots of tips and tricks with us mere mortals. Case in point: She’s always on her agility game, doing lots of hopping, skipping, and jumping!
And her sister and BFF, Venus (a.k.a Coach Venus), joins the party from time to time. In this clip, they started their workout with a 30-minute warm-up that’s honestly a workout in and of itself.
In terms of nutrition, Serena is not really a foodie. For her, eating is all about what fuels her best. Her nutrition philosophy is “eat to live. Don’t live to eat,” she previously told Women’s Health. “I want to have a healthy lifestyle and, so you know, [I’m eating] a lot of greens and mostly plant-based lately, just super healthy stuff.”
“I usually like to have lots of greens before my match and then fruit actually, and a little carbs and some sort of a protein,” she continued. “So I try to knock them [her food groups] all out in one.”
